Welcome and thank you for visiting The Seattle Pipe Club
Where smoking isn't just allowed . . . it's mandatory !
The Seattle Pipe Club meets in Smokey Joe's Cigar Lounge in little ol' Fife. Second Wednesday of every month. So join your fellow pipe smokers!
Come join your fellow pipe smokers at the Seattle Pipe Club. We're one of the biggest and most active pipe clubs in America. There may be a ban on smoking in public places, but the Seattle Pipe Club enjoys our tobacco at Smokey Joe's on Puyallup Tribal land in the town of Fife. Hey, did you know Fife in German means pipe? Smokey Joe's provides a welcoming & relaxing atmosphere, with an excellent tobacco lounge, comfy leather chairs & sofas, tasty food, a gorgeous mahogany bar and refreshing beverages of your preference--including a grand selection of single malt Scotch. Its Beautiful, baby!

Health Situation Update: Obviously things have changed and are changing regarding public gatherings. Everyone's life is upended and our priority is to take care of ourselves & our families during these insane times. As of now, we won't be holding pipe club in person until it is deemed safe. Of course we all need pipe club and the fellowship we enjoy more than ever. But we will only hold our meetings if it is safe to to so. Stay tuned and stay safe.
MARK RYAN --- We arranged for a future meeting. We're excited ...STAY TUNED!
The amazing Mark Ryan will be our VIP Guest Speaker to show & tell the story of Perique -- that most exotic and precious tobacco.
Mark has been in the Perique business since 2005 and has helped revive this wonderful ancient art of fermented tobacco processing from St James Parish in Louisiana. He also runs Ryan & Daughters tobacco business. Mark is a great speaker and a good friend of the Seattle Pipe Club. You will not want to miss this one I gar-antee! Plan to watch this great presentation using ZOOM.
Seattle Pipe Club - The first 10 years
To celebrate the 20th year of our marvelous pipe club, we offer you a look back at our first 10 years.
At our 10th Annual SPC dinner, on January 29th 2011, we presented each attendee a copy of a photo book highlighting our club's first 10 years of existence. Until now, only those fortunate few have had a chance to see it.
The entire book is available for viewing as a photo album on our website.
We hope you enjoy it.

Current members can obtain a full-resolution PDF copy of the book by first logging in. A download button will then appear below.

2019 SPC Slow Smoke Contest
Another great Slow Smoke at Smokey Joe's in Fife! We had 3 sign ups at the event!
One was our fearless leader, Matt Guss who had not done a SS in quite a few years. Michael Bergstrom and Fred Conner signed up last minute and took 2nd and 3rd place, respectively! It was Michael's first slow smoke and he is already ready for another. We had a Mosher team from Portland, including Kent Mosher who has competed with us for several years. Bart Mosher placed highest of the three, with a 5th place finish.
First out was Noah Espinoza at 26:22 which is the latest first out I can remember!. Last year's winner, Craig M. Watness, placed 4th. Tom Wolfe, who lost to Craig two years ago by 4 seconds, is our 2019 champ at 47:29. Kudos to member Tricia Turner who provided outstanding support for the event with the best room set up we have ever had!
Thanks all! See you next year, Lennea M Wolfe, Slow Smoke Chair.
