About this event

2010 SPC Club Pipe  (More photos....click here)

Order deadline June 1, 2010. Pipes MUST be prepaid and will be delivered in early Autumn.   Important ordering information at the bottom of this page.  You MUST read this to order your pipe.

Have you smoked a Vollmer & Nilsson?  Then you have not lived.  Okay, that's a bit of hyperbole but in all candor, Vollmer & Nilsson pipes are setting a new standard.  And their star is rising fast.  This Swedish brother duo has created a lovely Lovat shape pipe for our 2010 POY.  It all got started by Rick Willoughby and his little Vollmer & Nilsson pipe (as seen above).  Rick writes:

The 2010 SPC club pipe. Praised by the likes of Mike Gluckler ("All I do know is that I do not want this pipe to stop smoking!!!"), Greg Pease ("Two brothers in Sweden making truly exceptional pipes") and Marty Pulvers ("The pipes of Vollmer & Nilsson just do not fail to put a smile on my face."), the team of Vollmer and Nilsson make classically styled pipes that smoke as nice as they look.
Our 2010 club pipe will be a lovat with a twist. The basic pipe will be sandblasted in your choice of tan, dark brown or black. You'll also have a choice of bit color. Black or cumberland ebonite or even an acrylic amber. Now the premium options! Get a smooth finish for an extra $80 or a plain silver band for just an additional $30. Or get both! (I will.)

Thanks to Anders and Martin and brother Rick Willoughby for making this wonderful pipe a reality. This is a $400 to $600 value IF you could get one anywhere else...but you can't!   Is this the best SPC club pipe in our HISTORY?  Just possibly.   Members only.  Not a member yet? Here's your excuse to join your brethren in the Great Seattle Pipe Club!

To find out more about Martin Vollmer and Anders Nilsson and to see more of their wonderful work be sure to check out their website: www.vollmer-nilsson.com
