About this event
It's that time of year again! The 25th Anniversary Seattle Pipe Club BBQ picnic will be on August 16th. Always the highlight of our pipe-smoking summer. FREE for all dues paid members and their guests! The SPC Summer BBQ Picnic will be held at the home of Tom & Lennea Wolfe in Fircrest. It's a picnic so that means we all bring some of the food!
The event will feature BBQ pork ribs and chicken wings prepared by Ian Neville-Neil.
Side dishes and alcoholic beverages are pot luck. We will be sending out emails to coordinate the dishes. If you have a dish you'd like to bring just let us know.
--EMAIL US what HOMEMADE SIDE YOU CAN BRING! We need potluck items such as:
- Beverages
- Veggie appetizer & dip
- Cole slaw
- Fruit salad
- Baked beans
- Corn bread
- Potato or pasta salad
- Desserts
- . . .and your choice of other yummy picnic stuff!
WE ALSO NEED FOLKS TO SET UP, CLEAN UP AND TEAR DOWN!
FREE for all SPC members!
The event will start at 1pm. If people wish beer, wine, etc., be sure to BRING YOUR OWN. Of course, it wouldn't hurt for you to bring extra beverages for your thirsty brothers & sisters! There is no charge to members for this event.
But you must REGISTER ! We need to know how much food to order.
We had a great turn out last year. Everyone may bring pipes and other smoking items to trade, sell or show.
